As part of the HWCA project (Strengthening Higher Education in the Water Sector for Climate Resilience and Security in Central Asia), at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the opening of a computer class took place.

The event was opened by the Rector of the Diplomatic Academy, Akylbek Kylychev, and the National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ program in Kyrgyzstan, Gulnara Isaeva. Representatives from the partner universities Kyrgyz National Agrarian University and the Kazakh-German University also presented. The Ceremony was followed by the presentation of Professor Guldana Alybaeva, Head of the Department of World Economy and International Management, on the topic “Development of a Master’s Program Curriculum in Water Resources Management”. Research works of Doctoral and Postgraduate students were also presented. Speech of PhD doctoral student Orozaliev Bayzak was on the topic: “Features of water diplomacy”. PhD student, Doskazhaeva Aizat’s topic was: “Water scarcity as a factor in international relations in Central Asia” Rakhmatov Toktogul, graduate student, gave a speech on the topic: “Problems of transboundary water resources management in Central Asia”
